Ferdinand names the club he expects Bellingham to sign for.. and urges him to reject Liverpool

Jude Bellingham is highly advised to ignore Liverpool this summer, with Rio Ferdinand calling the move to Anfield a mistake and the legendary Manchester United defender also naming the club the England star is expected to join.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has emerged as one of the most sought-after stars in the world. Since his arrival at the German club in the summer of 2020, his reputation has spread throughout Europe.
Still only 19-years-old, Bellingham has the world at his feet.
In fact, now he is not just an ordinary England midfield player, but also wears the Dortmund captain’s armband. And after scoring 10 goals and adding 15 assists this season in 28 games, it’s easy to see why he’s in such high demand.
To this end, a group of major clubs in the world are chasing after the player, with Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Real Madrid all.
Liverpool seem to be leading the chase with a huge fan in Jurgen Klopp. However, Ferdinand believes that signing for Liverpool this summer could be a huge risk for Bellingham.

The Reds are currently enduring their worst season in several years and are in eighth place in the Premier League table. As a result, they are in serious danger of missing out on one of the four Champions League qualifying spots.
They have already been eliminated from the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup which they won last season. Barring a miraculous comeback, they will also face elimination in the Champions League after losing 5-2 at home to Real Madrid this week.
As such, Ferdinand Bellingham is advised to steer clear of a move to Liverpool.
And if you thought Ferdinand had ulterior motives and instead goaded the teenager into signing for Manchester United, you might need to think again.
Instead, Ferdinand believes Bellingham would be wiser to move to Real Madrid instead. It is believed that the Champions League holders offer the best chance for a superstar to win football’s biggest trophy.
Rio told BT sport: “I think Jude Bellingham is smart enough not to look at a single match on the horizon. He will definitely look at the bigger picture. What will the next 12 months at Liverpool look like? What kind of impact could he have at Liverpool?
He added, “I think if we had spoken a year or six months ago, I don’t think Judd Bellingham would even question Liverpool’s trajectory or where they are going, because they were in a different place.”
And he continued: “At the moment, I don’t think Liverpool will be on Bellingham’s radar. I know this will be very frustrating for Liverpool fans. I think it’s clubs that are in transition right now, clubs that are in the process of being sold or [offered] for sale, or something like that.
Ferdinand continued: “The most important thing is that the team does not seem to be working in the right way. There is a transitional period in terms of the players in the team. There are some old players out there who will need to get out and move on. Then there are some young players who have been brought in.”
And he ended: “Does Bellingham get into it? Or move on to a team that now looks set to win? Real Madrid should be at the top of the list at the moment.”
